- Preparation: Clean the headlight lens with water. Cover the area around the lens to protect painted surfaces.
- Step 1 – Sanding: Moisten the sanding disc and attach it to the backing pad. Use three different grits—from coarse to fine (P800 → P1200 → P2000)—to fully remove heavy yellowing, fading, and corrosion. Note: Using the discs in order is crucial for a successful result.
- Step 2 – Polishing: Attach the orange sponge pad to the backing pad and apply the polishing compound. Polish the lens until it regains its original shine. Tip: For best results, use an electric sander or polisher. If polishing by hand, make at least 200 circular, clockwise motions.
- Step 3 – Protection: Clean and dry the lens. Make sure it’s out of direct sunlight. Apply 5–10 drops of the protective liquid to the cleaning cloth and wipe the lens horizontally and vertically for even coverage. Let dry for 3–5 minutes, then wipe off any excess. Allow 24 hours to fully cure, or use a hair dryer for 1–2 minutes.
